Within the activities of the project to support livelihoods and food security in Yemen, with funding from the European Union and under the supervision of the United Nations Development Program(UNDP), the Millennium Development Foundation (MDF) launched cash-for-work program for 500 beneficiaries in Al-Ta’iziyah District. The activities were various in the following:
– Paving a 73-meter-long road in Al-Ramda Market in Al-Taiziyah District.
– Lifting and removing solid waste from the market.
– Painting street curbs in the market.
women’s activity were divided into two parts:
(A) Health awareness activity for 14,000 people through raising awareness at the household level and printing awareness posters.
(B) Participating in improving the environmental situation by removing solid and building waste from the main street, raising garbage to the places designated for it, as well as decorating streets and planting trees in schools.
